Change

Change is looked at as positive or negative in most cases based on perception, need, desires, growth, a calling, emotions and feelings.

But if we take a step back…

Can we justify calling anything really negative in the grand scheme of things?

The ebb and flow of life…

It seems complicated by many and orderly to some…but very colorful to others.

Yet still there are shades of gray and days where the dark corners seem easier to find comfort and safety.

It is truly mind over matter?

Or just learning to step back and take a deep breath?

Change.

For growth and development?

For allowing the senses to take a break?

For establishing healthy lifestyle practices?

For finding yourself?

For combating emotional fatigue?

For saying enough is enough?

For discovery and inspiration?

For mental clarity?

…so many ways that change can impact life!

Take a deep, long breath… He knows.

Jeremiah 29:11 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

11 For I know the plans I have for you”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Let Him Work in You

We all are told that the Lord is our Father, our Prince of Peace, the Almighty Counselor

But

Do you let Him do what He needs to do in your life?

I know I struggle with complete surrender of those deep places of pain and hurt. But as my friend reminded me…He can fix it, if we let Him.

He is a gentleman and will not cross your boundaries unless you want Him to come in, He waits for you to…trust.

Trust, Trust, Trust.

When you feel like you can no longer keep fighting… keep going. He is with you, He is ready to help… let Him love you.

Let Him work in you. To fix the brokenness and to help protect your heart. To help you fight those deep hard battles, to fight those hard life decisions and to embrace and cover you in His arms.

He dearly loves you!

Trust Him.

Practice What You Preach

Preach it brother and sister.

About who He is,

His character,

And how we reflect who we are in Him.

Allow Him in those deepest crevices…

In those places that hinder our walk.

If you preach it,

Show others you mean it.

If you say you drop everything to pray for someone, do it.

It hurts more when you witness those in leadership who do not walk the walk, but claim to do so.

Wake up!

God desires for us to follow Him but also to help others to grow in Him.

When you let your feelings block loving as God loves you… it hurts everyone.

I am learning this.

We are family…right?

I’m still learning about what that means.

If you love as God loves…then do it.

Stop and love.

Stop avoiding and ignoring those who are trying to learn and grow.

Stop the silent treatment.

All you are doing is hurting them more emotionally than you realize.

Stop hurting each other!

Inner Chaos

Tears

Tidal waves

Hope

The light that breaks the darkness

The sun that shines through the black array of clouds.

A flicker to a bright flame.

It burns.

Crumbs of love

Swirling, intense feelings

Needing oxygen

Fighting to swim

Breathe

Unbalanced, losing footing

Dig deep

The intense emotional rush

Slamming into you, into everything

That crashing sound

The stillness that plateaus

Help me Jesus to rest in your arms.

The Tears Fall

You keep giving until there is nothing left,

You fight your demons until you drag,

You tell yourself you are okay every day,

Deep inside the box, the broken things spill,

Deep inside your childlike faith is choking,

Deep inside your emotions collide,

He is There!

He is meeting you in the storm!

He is not afraid of the messiness inside!

You feel alone,

You feel exhausted,

You feel like giving up,

The Tears Fall…

Wet on my cheeks,

Down my face to my shirt,

No! My hands fly to my face.

Stop the ugly tears, just stop, stop!

My heart quickens,

My breathing… panting,

My eyes burn with pain and anger.

I rock back and forth,

I start wondering if He is really there,

I am determined to seek Him.

In the darkest corners of what’s left of my heart, I want Him, I need Him more. Surrendering the deepest hurts and trusting Him is so important in building faith. My heavenly Father who is a Mighty Warrior…who Loves me…who died for me.

Speak Life

I am fearfully and wonderfully made,

I am the daughter of the Mighty King,

I am loved, accepted and chosen.

I am His.

To my knees, I pray.

To my Father, I speak softly with reverence.

To my feelings, I say…Not today Satan!

The Tears Fall.

Jesus, I need you.

Jesus, please hold me.

Jesus, I cannot face this alone.

Jesus, please help me to cling to you.

…..Now Breathe….

His hand is extended….

He’s waiting for you.

He’s got you baby girl.

He’s got you in His arms.

Be Still.
