Pine Lodge, Becoming Whole

(To the Ladies of Pine Lodge, Timberline Knolls)

A place of change,

The girls in lodge,

A part of the

journey of healing.

Together they provided,

Strength, Wonder, Hope

And Honesty…

So many attributes of growth.

Pine Lodge provided,

A safe place for some,

Even though,

It is truly a safe place.

Many of us struggled,

And ran away

from ourselves,

Remembering trauma or dissociation or fear.

Trauma is real,

Not everything is life comes easily,

There is purpose in the learning,

It hurts,

It tears you apart,

Part of recovery,

Is putting the pieces together,

And fixing the shattered heart,

with Gold.

We are changed,

We are bold,

We are strong,

We are becoming whole.

One day at a time…

It is a beautiful process,

We all stop running,

We are filled with love,

To face new beginnings.

The goodness in the valleys and the mountains.

Brokenness,

Recovery,

Learning,

Becoming a sisterhood.

Certainly New Beginnings

Uncertainly certain, can that be possible?

Raw emotions without regulation.

Help Poppa.

Being in a vulnerable place,

Where it feels like chaos reigns,

On the inside and outside.

I have hope Poppa, that we can do this,

Together.

Body being turned inside out.

Facing the compartments of feels.

There is life on the other side.

New beginnings are ahead.

With you by my side,

Your majestic light covers me like a cocoon,

Poppa I love you and need you,

To breathe, To be free, To fulfill my calling.

It is you who is perfect peace,

And it is only in you that I can find hope.

Thank you so much for circling me with supportive butterflies,

I am grateful and I am seeking you!

There’s a Girl I know…

She is witty

A bright soul

Someone who loves no matter what

Who drops everything to pray for anyone on their behalf or in person

Loves Jesus

More than you know

She is so hard on herself

Seeks to make a difference and share her testimony

Big eyes, Big heart, Big Hopes…

A fighter

A warrior

A princess

She strives to be made whole in God.

She doubts who she truly is in the eyes of her Father.

She screams instead of surrendering to love.

She fears being hurt…

Because that is what she is used to.

But she does love the good shepherd.

Hugs can be warm and comforting.

She desires to be seen, known, heard and loved.

The journey continues on…

New beginnings, New changes…

To be aware of His Presence.

He knows her, He sees her, He loves her.

Love, Jumbled and a Tug

Life’s Purpose can be such a tug of war.

Lean into Him,

The push, the pull, the dark, the fire.

Lean into Him,

He Loves You.

He Loves You.

He Loves You.

He Loves You.

To learn and understand the truth,

Poppa is there.

Deep breath.

My heart, so heavy and broken.

Lean into Him.

Grief stricken,

Life’s trenches, hilltops and valleys,

Jumbled, Tangled web of emotions,

The past still burns and aches deeply,

But He is there.

…He is there.

Poppa is there.

In His timing,

If I allow and ask,

He will weave and pour gold over those deep hurts.

Don’t run away,

Little girl, He loves you so much.

He wants to go jump and play,

And He wants to make you new.

Speak up, Speak Life, Learn Truth and run to Him…even if you can’t catch your breath.

Keep going,

You’ll have friends & teachers along the way,

To share the Love of Him with you too.

You are Not Alone.

You hear me?

Dear little one, look up and see,

He’s got your heart on His sleeve.

Love, Jumbled and a Tug,

This is where you will draw closer to Him.

Be brave, dig in, He is with You.

Lean into Him.

Rage to Hope

The struggle,

The deep ache,

For hope,

For love,

For Him to keep you covered,

Keep focused baby girl,

Deep breath,

Jesus, help.

I need help.

I need the broken pieces to come back together,

To feel something better than the rage,

To be free and clean,

Will you sit with me?

Even in my mess?

Even with my anger?

I cannot do this alone.

Will you walk with me?

Can you hold my hand and wash my face?

Come in my secret place and love me?

Even if it’s dark,

Please help me to see more of you.

I want to know you more,

I long for that embrace of safety and trust.

I’m seeking you the best I know how to.

Please continue to teach me.

Please do not give up on me.

I see you watering the flowers,

I want to be there too.

It’s my hope and I’m learning.

Rage go away.

Peace Be Still
